 Gobble, Gobble, Gobble the Goodies! On November 18, the CGGE's Thanksgiving SALE and Turkey Hunt begins!
Take a good look at the Teddy the Turkey, at left. He is the clue that will lead you to the prizes! Thanksgiving is around the corner, so Teddy the Turkey is hiding out in various listings on Etsy. Participating members of the CGGE will be providing refuge to Teddy the Turkey. Search our shops and hunt him down, to qualify for a shiny reward. One winner will receive a Harvest Flavored Five Flagged Stained Glass Bunting donated by PamelaAngus. Another winner will receive a Pretty Pair of Hummingbirds Fused Glass Pendant donated by lawatha, AND a third winner will win a Lovely Lampworked Pendant donated by ParrottFlameworks.

The contest will run for one week, November 18th to the 25th. At midnight on Nov. 25th, our CGGE judges will check all of the entries for correct Teddy the Turkey sightings. Winners are the entries with the most correct sightings. In the likely event of a tie, the three winners will be drawn at random from all the correct entries. The lucky, clever winners will be notified via convos on Nov. 26th, and their names will be published before the cheering throngs on our website and in the Etsy forums. CGGE members are not allowed to participate, but will join in, chat and cheer contestants on in the thread while you are searching for Teddy the Turkey! I LOVE Etsy, and this seller, is a great contributor to the Etsy community! Here's Why!
 Hi all! Just a quick shop review of one of my favorite glass buddies! Su of Squidglass made my day when I received one of her stunning and original Millefiori garden glass pendants, like the one seen to the left! Squidglass is so charming and sweet, my pendant arrived quickly and well packaged in a super cool little tin, along with a "care" card which included instructions on how to care for my  piece! Super cool, indeed! The first day I wore my new piece, I had 2 different people compliment me on it. I was able to give them the website of Su, Squidglass AND introduce them to Etsy at the same time. It's so fun to talk about Etsy and the great finds there/here!My actual pendant is below, I'm 7 months pregnant so I don't look too hot, but check out that belly!  Hehehhe. A little baggy eyes, and swollen face, but otherwise happy and healthy with huge knockers, that my new fused glass pendant accentuates! hahah.  The ever growing 7 month belly, yikes, my 18 month daughter and 2 dogs in the background!

I just wanted to take a moment to feature one of my Etsy Street Team Teammates from the Creative Glass Guild of Etsy (CGGE) and express my appreciation for her!Karen, of FireChickTick.etsy.com is such a talented artist and wonderful charismatic and endearing person. I have really been fortunate to get to know her as a result of our team chats and private forum. Recently, I had the pleasure of purchasing a few of her gorgeous bubble fused glass jewelry pieces, pictured below (they are linked to her Etsy site, so click away!)  I really wanted to share with everybody how kind and generous Karen is. Her work is exceptional and I LOVE this set. I get so many compliments on them whenever I wear them (pic of me and my daughter to the left, I'm wearing my new bubble set!)
It is really great advertising! I get the chance to mention that they are handmade pieces I bought online from a friend of mine and that we are in a collective group of glass workers. I usually have a card or two on me, and write down the shop name of who I bought as well as our team site, and of course my site is on there too, so it's a triple bonus!
