CGGE

Hello CGGE members!

I am so proud to be part of such a fantastic group of glass artists! We have made great progress in the few months since forming our new glass team! We now have over 100 members and are very active on Etsy and our CGGE website!

• Key accomplishments have included the official recognition of CGGE as an Etsy street team, the design and implementation of a CGGE website complete with Etsy minis, forums, articles, and more thanks to GetGlassy! We have also had our first team sale “Spring into Summer” which was great fun and a valuable learning experience.

• Upcoming activities include a glass ACEO challenge scheduled for July, to be promoted as a team in August. We will also be hosting a new contest in the Etsy forums giving away FREE glass prizes donated by our members, this will be a great promotional tool and advertisement for the group and the shops involved. We are also actively writing articles for the website, convo creationsinglass if you are interested in submitting an article.

We encourage group participation as we are steered by a group of co-leaders who make decisions based on majority rule. Please come join us and chime in on our threads posted in the street team forum of Etsy and volunteer to help us out!

Be sure to visit our team website at http://www.cgge.org and register for the forums using your Etsy name so we can recognize you. There is a private side which is our center of activity to stay updated and get help etc from each other! You will get an email from our webadmin (Patti-GetGlassy), so check your spam, junk or trash box if you don't see it.

We also have meetings every Saturday in the Etsy "Glass Guild" chat room, at 10am PDT (1pm EDT, 6pm UK). Please look for threads in the street team area of Etsy to stay informed etc. These meetings are a blast and we discuss our next promotions activities etc. Come and chat with us and let your voice be heard!

The best place to get started is to read the CGGE forums, especially the meeting minutes etc. We also have a CGGE member mailing list, so please send your email address to creationsinglass, if you haven’t already, so we can add you to our mailing list to help keep you informed on group activities etc.

Did you know that the Etsy has a new admin sarawearsskirts who is responsible for working with the street teams and updating the street team pages? She is already holding workshops to discuss street teams, ideas, projects, questions etc! Read this announcement and try to make the workshops if possible!
