Where I live in the Northeast the world is starting to come to life. Flowering trees and shrubs in an array of beautiful colors, birds waking us up with their song in the morning and the sweet sound of the peeps in the dark woods at night. Here is a collection of glass by some of our members that also shows the signs of spring!
Just click on any of the images to learn more about it. Jestersbaubles fused glass dish offers colors of rosey pink, white, and very dark purple. This reminds me a bit of the Magnolia trees in bloom now.  Kim Nelson's spring flower beads. The raised flowers adorn each side and they're the perfect size for earrings, charms or as a little spring fling around your neck.  Lawatha's Puzzle pieces pendant in shimmery dichroic glass fused on a green base.  LNGlassworks two matching lampwork beads. The colors are just beautiful! Here we are, in the midst of winter where our creative influences may run to the icy cold days many of us have this time of year. I try to find as much beauty as I can around me when everything is a bit less colorful in the world. I've seen the rising crescent moon out my kitchen window; beautiful against the still dark morning sky, the crows that gather in the tree near my house early each morning as if to talk of the days plans before heading off for their days work, the various animal tracks found in the snow.
