Ocean Breezes

Hi. My name's Natasha, and I'm a glass addict.

I wasn't always addicted to glass. Shoes, books, and hockey, sure, but the glass obsession didn't start until my second fused glass workshop. That was the day we were promoted to dichroic glass. The second I laid eyes on the cool, shimmering blues, I knew I was hooked for life.

See, even though I'm a loyal Pittsburgher to the core, I would move to the beach in a heartbeat. I'd love nothing more than to laze around in a hammock with the cool ocean breezes ruffling the pages of my book and the crashing surf lulling me to sleep. For me, all of this is distilled into the beauty of blue glass.

Autumn Is My Favourite Season

I have always loved Autumn/Fall. My Brother would tell you it is because my Birthday falls in October but don’t believe a word of it. It is because the world becomes a rich pallet of my favourite colours; rich russets and burnt oranges. I enjoy the crisp air and the dramatic light over the landscape on my early morning walks. As a child I delighted in shuffling through the rustling fallen leaves. Not to mention the harvest festival and Halloween parties that add a little fun and celebration too as the longer winter nights draw in.

Father's Day Glass Gifts

Silver Ice fused dichroic glass cufflinks by Joan Jewels

This original 5" x 7" dyed fabric background highlights the sandbrushed Chinook Salmon on the glass. This technique produces an almost 3D scene. created by Judy Matechuk.

Fun and funky fused glass cufflinks with black, lime green and pink fused glass discs. These cufflinks almost look like candy by Glassprimitif.
